What are you growing?

A photo, a few words and the seed: that's a post. Add the stage and height if you like, and come back next week with the next one.

Pick one when you post. Each shows with its own label in the feed.

  • Growth update

A photo of how a plant is doing, with its stage, height and days since sowing.

  • Garden showcase

Your garden, balcony, windowsill or growing setup.

  • Harvest report

What you picked, when, and how much.

  • Gardening tip

Something that worked for you, so others can try it.

  • Question

Ask about a problem, a seed or a technique.

  • General

    Anything else about growing.

Next

What happens after you post

  1. 1

    Your photos are checked

Each photo is checked as it uploads. Most are ready in seconds; anything unclear waits for a moderator before others can see it.

  2. 2

    It joins the feed

Public posts show in the community feed, on your profile and on the seed's grows. Private ones only you can see.

  3. 3

    People react and reply

Growers can like your post, mark it helpful and comment. Questions get answers from people who've grown the same seed.

  4. 4

    Come back next week

Post the same plant again as it grows. Your updates build into a record of the whole grow, from sowing to harvest.

How posting works

Sign up for free, confirm your email, and share a photo of what you're growing. A few simple rules keep it useful for everyone.

Read the terms of use
  • Real photos of your own plants

Share what you're growing yourself. Photos taken from the internet or of someone else's garden aren't allowed.

  • Every photo is checked

Photos are checked before everyone can see them, and location and camera details are removed from the file.

  • Be kind and helpful

Answer questions the way you'd like yours answered. Harassment, hate and spam are removed.

  • No selling in posts

Posts are for growing. Seed listings will get their own place on SeedBattle later.

Questions

Questions about posting

Do I need an account to post?
Yes, a free one with a confirmed email address. It keeps the community real and lets you edit or delete your posts later.
Which photos can I use?
Photos you took of your own plants, garden or harvest: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 12 MB each and six per post. Location and camera details are removed from every photo.
Can I change or delete a post later?
Yes. Open the post and use Edit or Delete. Deleting removes the post with its photos, comments and reactions.
How do I enter a Battle?
Join the Battle on its page first. While it's running, this form offers it under "Enter it into a Battle?". One entry per week, public, with at least one photo.
